Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates this activity for 7.25 contact hours for nurses. Nurses should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses licensed in Iowa and California: This activity was planned and developed in accordance with the continuing education standards of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The Iowa Board of Nursing and the California Board of Nursing will honor ANCC continuing education credits for face-to-face programs held outside Iowa and California, or for ANCC-approved online recorded courses taken in a self-study format.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education (HSCE) and AWHONN Nebraska Section. Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education (HSCE) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Every year we highlight an organization that helps women and children. This year we will be collecting donations for The Shelter. The Shelter provides emergency shelter and temporary housing for victims of domestic violence. You can donate via eventbrite when you register for the conference or at the conference. Below is a list of items that The Shelter can use to assist victims of domestic violence:


  • Twin sheet sets, gently used also appreciated
  • Twin blankets
  • Bedding, variety of sizes
  • Bathroom cleaning supplies
  • Kitchen cleaning supplies
  • Carpet freshening products
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Body wash
  • Umbrellas
  • Cell phones(please make sure all personal information is deleted off phones and turn off any tracking systems installed on the phone before donating)
