8th Annual Irish WinterFest
Event Information
Description
It's that time of year! Join us as we kick-off the Irish Season with our 8th Annual Irish WinterFest, a celebration of Irish music and dance. Featuring local and regional musicians mixed with good food, drink and craic, WinterFest returns to Drexel Hall, the event space located at the Kansas City Irish Center.
Also returning will be the immensely popular VIP area on the balcony of Drexel Hall, which includes a private bar, and hors d'oeuvres 6-8 p.m. and desserts 8-9 p.m., provided by Brady's Public House. Only 50 VIP tickets are available, and they sold out quickly last year!
Of course we couldn't have this event without food from Browne's Irish Market, which will be available for purchase beginning at 6 p.m. This year’s event is once again being coordinated with the annual Gaelic Mass at Redemptorist Church, just two blocks down the road, with a bagpiper piper leading a procession of WinterFest attendees from the church to Drexel Hall.
As if all of this isn't enough, the Parade Committee will be announcing the 2019 Parade Honorees.
