The “Golf with a Hero” golf tournament returns to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton!
Each foursome for this golf tournament will be comprised of one (1) active duty Marine or Sailor and three (3) other golfers.
The tournament play will start at 9 a.m. on May 12, 2023 with a shotgun start for the foursomes. Registration includes golf cart and food service.
There are various options for you to choose to support this tournament:
1. If you are a golfer, we invite you to register to play.
2. If you desire, you can donate to sponsor a Marine or Sailor to play.
3. If neither of these options suit you, we welcome monetary donations to support this fundraising effort.
4. We welcome sponsors to the support this charitable fundraising event. There are four (4) sponsorship packages available under "TICKETS".

Event Description
This charity golf tournament provides an opportunity to converse with Marines and Sailors who have recent worldwide experience in carrying out the mission of the U. S. Marine Corps. A silent auction will also be conducted at this golf tournament.
The proceeds of this fundraising golf tournament support various projects that Camp Pendleton Historical Society currently has underway or are in the planning stages.
Attire: Appropriate Golf Attire (No Jeans or T-Shirts)

NOTE: For those registered players who do not have unescorted access to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, you will have to provide your full name, driver license # (and State), and date of birth along with your paid registration to permit CPHS to provide this information to the Base Provost Marshall in order to gain one-time access to the base for this golf tournament. Those who register and pay for more than one player will need to ensure that they provide this required information for each of the golfers that this (base access requirement) applies to.

Camp Pendleton Historical Society (CPHS) is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich and colorful history of the land that is now Camp Pendleton. Our interests span the entire history of the region to include prehistoric times; native American culture; the Spanish mission era; the rancho story; and finally, the United States Marine Corps ownership since 1942. CPHS supports the historical programs onboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton including but not limited to the Rancho Santa Margarita y Las Flores Ranch House, Las Flores Adobe, Marine Corps Mechanized Museum, and World War II Tracked Vehicle Museum.
CPHS is organized as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation under Section 23701d of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, and is classified as a Public Charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
