The UNITY Networking Mixer series is the perfect merger of professional development and social networking, which was designed to strengthen business relationships within the African American community and to support local entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations.

Our 2020 UNITY Networking Mixer Black History Month Celebration theme is Orlando Then & Now: Stories of Transition, Community & Progression.

Our UNITY Black History Month celebration will highlight three of Orlando's top "Ladder Builders" who will share their story with us and their strategies for driving sustainable results. Each of the panelists are Orlando natives and Jones High School graduates who will give us perspectives on growing up in Orlando.

Our featured panelists include: Belvin Perry, Esq, Morgan & Morgan/Retired Chief Judge 9th Judicial Circuit of Florida, Ron Rogers, CEO, Ronald O Rogers & Associates/past President, 100 Black Men Orlando and Dr. Portia Maultsby, Laura Bolton Professor Emerita of Ethnomusicology, Indiana University.

Special Guest Moderator: Vice Admiral David Brewer (retired), United States Navy

Special invited guests include "Ladder Builders" and servant leaders who have contributed to the advancement and progress of our Orlando community and its citizens.

Black History Month Expo:

• 10-12 local chapters of national professional associations will host informational tables to reach new members, partners and sponsors (we are the only event that has provided this platform).
• 1-2 local non-profit organizations will host an information tables to reach new volunteers and donors.
