You’re invited to join the Deloitte Federal S&O peer groups and the StreetWise Partners Corporate Citizenship Initiative for a day of friendly competition and fun in the sun for a good cause at the 7th annual “Swing for a Cause” Charity Golf and Networking Event!
Like last year, we are excited to offer three options for participation to accommodate practitioners at all levels of golfing experience. Each option will include dinner, drink tickets, the chance to participate in the raffle, and plenty of networking time across all levels of the firm.
Option 1: 18-hole golf tournament, dinner, auction, and networking
Analyst/Consultant/Senior Consultant: $130 ($110 Early Bird)
Manager/Senior Manager/Specialist Master: $150 ($128 Early Bird)
PPMD/Non-Deloitte: $200 ($170 Early Bird)
Option 2: Professional golf lesson, driving range, auction, dinner and networking
$69 – Limited to 25 participants
Option 3: Driving range, auction, dinner and networking
$49 – Unlimited participants

Over 200 Federal S&O practitioners have engaged with StreetWise Partners since 2010, volunteering thousands of hours to help support the organization’s mission. StreetWise works with low-income individuals to help them overcome employment barriers, obtain better jobs, and achieve economic self-sufficiency – both through deep mentoring relationships and professional skills training, career coaching, and job search assistance.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The course is located at 11875 Sunrise Valley Dr., Reston, VA 20191.
From the Deloitte Rosslyn Office
By Car:Take I-66W and VA-267W (approximately 17 miles). Take Exit 12. Continue on Reston Pkwy headed south. Continue on Reston Parkway for 0.5 miles and turn left on Sunrise Valley Dr. Turn right immediately onto Colts Neck Rd. Reston National Golf Course is on the left. Parking will be available on-site. We recommend coordinating carpools with your team and colleagues.
By Metro: Take the Silver Line train from Rosslyn Metro Station to Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station. Walk southwest on Wiehle Ave. Turn right on Sunrise Valley Dr. Turn left onto Indian Ridge Rd. (Approx. 1 mile)
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Small purses (approximately six inches by six inches) are permitted. Sports drinks, such as bottles of water and Gatorade, and athletic bars are acceptable and encouraged during the golfing portion of the day. Please no alcoholic beverages or other food of any kind, as dinner is included in each package for all participants and a refreshment cart will be circulating the course throughout the tournament.
Will there be clubs and equipment available for rent?
Yes, the pro shop will have clubs available to borrow, free of charge, for those participating in the lesson, and for rent to those in the tournament or using the driving range. One golf cart per four-person team is included in the cost of tournament registration.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, attendees may transfer registration to another practitioner by providing
written notice via email by 5:00pm on Friday, May 5th, 2016. Due to the nature of the event, we will not be able to honor any requests for transfer after that time.
How can I update my registration information?
Yes, attendees may update their personal and/or tournament team information directly via this Eventbrite site.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, event organizers will be able to check attendees in online, so no physical copy is necessary.
What is the refund policy?
Practitioners may request a refund in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org for any reason up until 11:59pm on
Friday, May 19th, 2016.
