This will be our first ever 2-DAY Powwow!
Join over 4,500 other attendees for a beautiful Native American festival culturally rich in music, art, dancing, and food.
There will be an array of over 100 dancers, traditional drums and singers, spectacular Indian market with arts and craft booths, Native foods, a family art tent, and our all-new Native Culture tent with storytelling and presentations on the White Shaman Panel.
Saturday, October 14th: We'll have the all-day festival with all of the special activities of the annual Sacred Springs Powwow.
We're expecting over 100 Native dancers, competitions for best dancers, an Indian Market with 50 arts, crafts, and food booths, two outstanding powwow drum groups, and our Native Culture Tent.
The "Native Culture Tent" will feature flute players, storytellers, and White Shaman Panel presentations, and provide performances throughout the day.
Sunday, October 15th: Special competitions continue with crowds cheering for their favorite dancer. Prizes awarded for first, second, and third places.
Experience the 2017 Sacred Springs Powwow that celebrates the Native American culture that has been part of the San Marcos area for thousands of years.
POWWOW: On Saturday October 14th from 10am to 9pm and Sunday the 15th from 11am to 5pm: Sacred Springs Powwow, full-day of Native American culture at The Meadows Center.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Visitors will be able to park at the Bobcat Stadium, once there, shuttle buses will cycle through every 15 minutes.
If the parking lot is full, proceed to second visitor’s parking on the west side of Bobcat Stadium. Park and wait for the shuttle.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
All visitors are required to bring their printed ticket or a photo ID, or one can be purchased at the event.
