Description

Every year during the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims from around the world fast from dawn to sunset for approximately 30 days. The fast commemorates the revelation of the Holy Qur'an, and teaches Muslims self-restraint, humility, and patience.

The Kansas City branch of the American Coalition for Good Government, and local sponsors have worked together to facilitate the 6th Annual Iftar with the Mayor. The Honorable Sly James, Mayor of Kansas City, MO will be our host and featured speaker.

The doors open at 6 p.m.; event begins at 6:30 p.m.; Magrib Salat and breaking of the fast will be at 8:42 p.m.,; dinner will be served at 9:00 p.m.
