Join us to honor and thank our Southwest Ohio Delegates for their support in helping people reach for recovery. Our Keynote Speaker Sen. Rob Portman will give important updates about CARA 2.0, the proposed bill that will authorize $1 billion in dedicated resources to evidence-based prevention, enforcement, treatment, and recovery programs.

Enjoy food & fellowship! Our event will be held in the conference center of the Spaulding Recovery & Family Care Building, located on our beautiful 3-1/2 campus located in the heart of Cincinnati.

Who is this year's Keynote Speaker?

This year's Keynote Speaker is Sen. Rob Portman who was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1993, Rob was first elected to Congress, representing Ohio’s Second District for 12 years. He founded the Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati, now known as PreventionFIRST! and authored the Drug Free Communities Act, among other initiatives. In 2010, Rob was elected to the U.S. Senate. He authored the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) that became law in 2016 and recently introduced CARA 2.0 to direct more federal funds to combat the opioid epidemic. During his Senate tenure, Rob has introduced more than 180 bills, 150 of them bipartisan, and more than 50 bills have been signed into law. Learn more about CARA 2.0 here.


Who can come to this event?

This event is open to everyone of all ages.

However, at this time CAT cannot provide high chairs or boosters for children.


What are my parking options?

There is plenty of free on-site parking on CAT's campus.

CAT is located one block east of Union Terminal/Museum Center, on the north side of the street.

The event will be held in the Spaulding Recovery & Family Care Building in the conference center.


What food will be served at the event?

There are plenty of delicious foods being prepared including pancakes with butter and syrup, sausage, thick-sliced hickory bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, fresh cut fruit and beverages both hot and cold.


What is the deadline to RSVP?

The deadline to RSVP is Monday, April 23rd.


What can/can't I bring to the event?

In order to protect the confidentiality of our patients and facility, no photographic equipment including cell phone pictures may be used during the event without prior and explicit permission.
