The Peninsula Conflict Resolution Presents:
7th Annual Building Empathy and Respect Benefit

March 29, 2018

6PM - 8:30 pm

Hiller Aviation Museum

601 Skyway Rd - San Carlos, CA

The Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center's Annual Building Empathy and Respect benefit recognizes the impact of individuals who use their leadership to sustain and improve the lives of others. We celebrate the power of empathy and respect in improving the lives of community members throughout San Mateo County.

This year we are awarding the 2018 Warren Dale Building Empathy & Respect Award to Ms. Anne Campbell. Ms. Campbell is the San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools. She was first elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2014.  As County Superintendent, one of her primary responsibilities is ensuring the financial and academic stability of San Mateo County’s 23 school districts who serve nearly 95,000 K-12 students.

Superintendent Campbell’s priorities include closing the achievement gap, expanding access to quality early care and education, and developing robust environmental literacy opportunities for all students. She is also supports programs that build empathy and respect among students in her schools. Whether children are in public or private schools, they will grow up to be each other’s peers. Having these skills will serve them all in the long run.
