On November 30, 2019, 100 Men Who Cook™ will host it’s annual Black Tie Fundraiser at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel at 6p. Gentlemen from throughout the community don their chef hats for the evening to serve their mouth-watering specialties.

The festive atmosphere will feature a Masquerade Ball theme this year. The 21+ gala and elegant atmosphere includes live entertainment, dancing, lots of food, and so much more. Extent your Thanksgiving weekend, get out of the kitchen — and let us serve you masterpiece dishes from our Gentlemen Chefs from the 5280.

100 Men Who Cook, Inc. is dedicated to supporting Denver’s youth by helping grassroots community nonprofit organizations that have a proven track record of making a positive and significant impact on youth in the community by raising operating capital to sustain their goals and objectives.

Your support, as a sponsor of The 100 Men Who Cook Black Tie Fundraiser will provide much needed resources to several community organizations. Our primary beneficiaries this year are the Jazz C.A.F.E.; Colorado Beautillion-Cotillion, Inc.; and Boy’s Day. Additionally, we support the activities of various community organizations that align with our mission throughout the year.

MLI (formerly known as Jazz C.A.F.E.)

MLI (formerly known as Jazz C.A.F.E.) is operating under a new name but with the same commitment and foundation. Cultivating a Future of Excellence was and continues to be our guiding principle. The 2017-2018 season featured a keyboarding lab coupled with project-based leadership development. Expanding the program to meet the needs of the beginning musicians interested in this program by introducing them to music theory and keyboarding caught them where they were and helped them to develop a foundation for continued music development.

The leadership development program challenged students to work collaboratively in leadership challenges. The lessons were grounded in growth mindset concepts that built on the strengths of the individuals but capitalized on their collective strengths to accomplish a variety of leadership development challenges. Incorporated was a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts as the root of the lessons and projects.

Leadership Development Director, Ms. Tracey Grant, introduced activities that focused on science and engineering concepts and then guided students to unpack the leadership lessons inherent in the challenges. Students rose to the occasion.



Athletics & Beyond assists inner city youth to become successful student athletes through the vehicle of sports. Their students compete in the best local and national tournaments/leagues gaining them exposure to all levels of collegiate athletic programs. Their students learn and understand the principles of being a dedicated student, productive citizen in the community and a hard-working athlete.

A&B prepares students for careers after athletics. Their staff inspires their students to be engaged in their communities. Students are offered tutoring, mentoring, life skills training, college prep and career exploration. They are able to shadow a number of professionals including coaches, educators and athletic trainers.



Visions Performing Arts College Prep operates under the following mission: to prepare, thru rigorous curricula, African and Latinx student performers are prepared to complete, continue and compete in a college degree and the performing arts industry.

Visions Performing Arts College Prep (VPAC) strives to preserve, maintain and support the tradition of African and Latinx performing arts through education. VPAC is a school to ensure the next generation is honored and proud of their heritage in the performing arts. VPAC will equip students to execute equity throughout and accessible college experience for a successful career in thearts. In addition to their rigorous educational model they will host performances, establish mentorships, events and outreach to close education gaps in underserved communities.

VPAC hosts a youth talent showcase that is held quarterly with a $500 prize. This ensures that youth have a stage to showcase themselves and be celebrated and supported by community. This helps them achieve one of the goals of their organization to provide a safe place for the youth to show up and display their talents.

The Jazz C.A.F.E. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It is an innovative youth music program created to positively impact youth in the Denver metropolitan area, and is designed to not only offer youth an opportunity to master the music genre of jazz, but to gain valuable leadership skills.

Following students from grades 6 through 12, the Jazz C.A.F.E. is a very exciting venture bringing together entities that have a genuine concern for youth in our community.

Amazing things happen when you bring together passionate committed people united in a mission to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. That is the root and foundation of the Jazz CAFÉ. They have been Cultivating a Future of Excellence while expanding the vision of the program designed to promote excellence in students through music and leadership development. The collaborative effort of Norma Paige, Program Director, Jeffrey Young, Music Director and Tracey Grant, Education / Leadership Director introduced the program, which evolved into the non-profit organization. Thanks to the partnership and support of the 100 Men Who Cook, the program vision has expanded. The students are developing their music skills utilizing a mobile keyboard lab.
A recent graduate who participated in the summer program said, “I wish I had this program sooner.” That is the hope and desire of the Directors, to be able to positively impact the lives of young people as they are developing their own life’s vision and direction.


Boys Day was founded in the summer of 2014. During their inaugural year, Boys Day successfully partnered with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Denver Parks and Recreation to provide an opportunity to introduce inner-city boys enrolled in their program to wildlife and outdoor experiences right in our own backyard.

The primary goal of the program is to provide boys an outlet from the fast paced, technologically advanced communities we live in by offering a gateway into experiential learning fuelled with fun, character building and leadership training. Boys Day is a summer mentorship program offered to inner-city African American boys ages 7-11 from June thru August.

Creating and providing young boys with mentoring and other activities during the summer months helps build character and a strong foundation into manhood.


(CBI/CCI) was established as a multi-cultural all-inclusive mentoring and recognition program designed to expose Colorado’s high school juniors and seniors to personal development experiences, cultural/social development activities and recognize unsung youth from various communities.

The Colorado Beautillion-Cotillion, Inc. seeks to enhance and advocate positive, productive, proactive and progressive characteristics in high school juniors and seniors. This intense six-month program was developed to supplement the traditional educational experiences of young men and women and to build upon their academic and social experiences. The program consist of interactive workshops, field trips, seminars, mentoring and a formal gala at the end of the academic school year formally presenting the young men and women to society.

Q. What is the nature of the 100 Men Who Cook™ Annual Event?
A. The focus of the 100 Men Who Cook annual fundraising event is to raise funds for our beneficiaries, and have a great time doing so.

Q. What’s the difference between Express and Regular Registration Check-In?
A. Express Registration Check-In allows attendees to simply bring their printed Eventbrite ticket or Eventbrite Mobile App to the Express Check-In lane for admittance. Regular Registration is reserved for attendees that either cannot print our their tickets or have purchased paper tickets from a 100 Men Who Cook representative.

Q. What’s this year’s signature color?
A. This year’s signature color are black and white.

Q. What’s the dress attire?
A. Black-tie and Formal Wear.

Q. Is my information confidential when purchasing tickets through Eventbrite?
A. Yes! The Eventbrite web-site is a secure site and no personal or payment information will be sold or provided to other sources. The Eventbrite system is PCI compliant.

Q. What if I can’t print my tickets from Eventbrite?
A. No worries! We can look up your name at Registration. Unfortunately, you will not be able to access the Express Registration line without your printed ticket or Eventbrite mobile application. You can access the Eventbrite mobile application for iPhones, iPads, and Android devices HERE >

Q. Can I pay for my ticket with a personal or company check?
A. Yes, most definitely. When registering online, make sure to select the “show other payment options” under the green “order now” button. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing. If we have not received your personal or business check in 3 days, your ticket will be released to the general audience for purchase. In the event you loose your seat(s) or table because you didn’t send your payment in time, you can still purchase your tickets online or resubmit another check.

Q. What is the refund policy?
A. All ticket sales are final.

Q. Is either form of ticket transferable?

Q. What’s the minimum legal age to attend the Black Tie Fundraiser?
