After the death of her husband, Fred Holliday II, in 2009, Regina Holliday began the "73 cents" mural. This film follows the beginning of her journey in creating this mural and joining the participatory medicine movement.
Regina Holliday is an activist, artist, speaker and author in Washington DC. You might see her at a health conference painting the content she hears from the patient view. She and others in the movement believe that the patient is a partner with their provider and both should work together as a team. Regina utilizes the tools of technology and social media to better understand the patient condition and the landscape of medicine. She speaks about the benefits of HIT and timely data access for patients due to her family loss and she is the creator of The Walking Gallery.
