FAQs
1. Is there food? I'll be hungry! It's during dinner time!
Since it’s very hard to serve food during the networking party, (people will be directed to move around the tables to meet other people like a speed dating) food can be ordered only during Q&A session 6:30-7pm. We know Reg Egg is famous for their awesome food so we encourage you to arrive early and order and enjoy some food while Youn and Nick answer all your questions about the 2015 72 Hour Shootout. **Food has to paid for ONLY WITH CASH during this time to avoid confusion at the kitchen so bring cash if you're going to be ordering food.** There will be no food served during the "speed networking" 7pm-8:30pm. Attendees are more than welcome to stay after the event and order food.
2. Are there drinks?
For the same reason, we will not be providing drinks (we don't want everyone intoxicated while networking) however, Red Egg does have awesome drinks and we don't want to deprive you if you want to indulge so you may order your own drinks at the bar anytime during the evening.
3. Where in the Red Egg should I go for the event? Is it a big space? Will I get lost?
You won't get lost! Just ask for Nick. We have the back room reserved and bar is in the main hall. Again, be ON TIME. This event WILL reach capacity.
4. What should I bring?
Bring your information - resume, headshot, business card, etc to share with other attendees. Try to be prepared to have several skills (NOT JUST ONE!!) you can market, e.g. "I'm an actor AND a writer," or "I'm a director and an audio mixer," etc. Bring cash for food and drinks (again, they're delish but not provided by us) and bring an ID if you'll be ordering alcohol. Shootout registrants bring a copy of your PayPal receipt for entry and SAG-AFTRA members must bring and show a valid SAG-AFTRA ID AND corresponding photo ID.
