Paul Goldberger, author of "Ballpark: Baseball in the American City", Lecture and Book Signing

About this Event

Hear from Architectural historian and critic, Paul Goldberger, as he discusses the history of baseball through the stories of vibrant and ever-changing ballparks. An investigation of New York City’s great stadiums will illuminate the city’s love affair with America’s favorite pastime. Program is held in conjunction with the exhibition, “Home Plate: A Celebration of the Polo Grounds” on view until January 5, 2020. Lecture (7-8 pm): $20/$15 museum members. Book available for purchase in gift shop for signing to follow at 8:00 pm.
