Event description

Description

Acts: Casey Ley, Son Tran, Dan Fitzpatrick, Maxi Witrak, Drew Landry (headliner)

Casey Ley

Casey Ley is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on Viceland and has recorded sets for NBC, Comedy Dynamics and Rooftop Comedy streaming channels. He accessibly queers up society's issues weekly on his podcast The Gay Power Half Hour and entertains millennials with his fellow thirty-something Tony Soto on YouTube channel Snarled. He claimed second place in The Advocate Magazine's search for America's next great comic and was voted best comedian in SFWeekly's reader poll. Now he lives in Los Angeles where he is often deemed "too straight" to play gay best friend roles on television.

Son Tran

Son Tran was a finalist in the Funniest Comic in Texas and the Funniest in South Texas contests, which means he loses a lot of contests. His comedy has been described as ‘deadly silly’, by himself. He has immature yet philosophical insights on family, marriage and life in general that have made audiences laugh in clubs and festivals such as Laughfest and 10000 Laughs across the US and Canada. He has opened for comics like Ian Bagg and Tony Hinchcliffe. His wife does not approve of most of his jokes about her.

Dan Fitzpatrick

Dan Fitzpatrick is a New York City comic and writer. Dan first cut his teeth in the Boston comedy scene while attending Harvard University. He later moved to New York in 2015, where he's been hosting and producing the popular Brooklyn stand-up show Divine Comedy. His writing regularly appears in The National Lampoon, Above Average, and Splitsider, and he starred in a self-made Drunk History video that was featured on Comedy Central's website. His offbeat observations and devastating wit have made him a favorite of audiences all over the East Coast. He currently works as a writer for A&E.

Maxi Witrak

Salty blend of Amy Schumer and Tig Notaro. Maxi lived in Baltimore for four years, and has plenty to say about it.

Drew Landry

Drew Landry’s comedy is the perfect mix of peculiar thoughts and twisted observations, all delivered with an intense level of contagious energy. He performed at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and as part of Drink Till We’re Funny tours, and has opened for Gilbert Gottfried and David Alan Grier.
