7 WEEK YOGA AND MEDITATION JOURNEY TO REVITALISE YOU AND YOUR CHAKRAS
11 September-30 October 2016 (excl Oct 16)
Hive Dalston, 2nd Floor
Would you like to increase your levels of relaxation, connect to your inner divine essence and deepen your self- awareness? Are you looking for more Inner Peace, Joy, Balance and Harmony in your life?
If so, this is a rare opportunity to explore the more esoteric aspects of Hatha Yoga (Agama Yoga). Deepen your awareness of your own energy through Yoga Asanas, Meditation, Pranayama (Yogic breathing) and Sound to balance and harmonise your chakras.
In this unique 7 week course, there will be a weekly 3 hour Hatha Yoga and Meditation workshop every Sunday from 11 September-30 October 2016 (excl Oct 16) from 12.30pm-3.30pm with:
• A special focus on one Chakra, starting from the Root Chakra in Week 1 and ending with the Crown Centre in Week 7;
• A unique Talk on a topic of Yogic Philosophy (incl Yamas and Niyamas- moral ethics) or purification with Q & A; and
• A Yoga Social where you can ask questions on your own Yoga and Meditation practice and connect with others
• Places are limited to ensure an intimate class size with personalised attention, so book early.
• This course is suitable for all levels.
• Early bird discount if booked by 8 Aug 2016!
• For more information visit the Facebook Page & Group: Inner Peace Wellness or email any queries to firstname.lastname@example.org
During each workshop, there will also be some Yoga Asanas (poses) for other Chakras, in order to have a balanced workshop. I also love to use Sound, so each class will include a Meditation to music and often Pranayama (yogic breathing) with Sound. By journeying together on this course for 7 weeks, you will be able to delve much deeper into your own practice. No previous Yoga experience is necessary. This is a unique opportunity to explore the more esoteric aspects of yoga, not often taught in the West. If you feel called to join, it will be an honour to support you during this 7 week course. My Intention for this course is for you to be able to connect to your Inner Peace and Joy, and to live a life of Grace and Ease.
Ideally it is best not to eat for 2 hours before our workshop, so eating by 10.30am :).
Please arrive around 12.20pm so that you can settle in before we start at 12.30pm.
“I really love the sessions you do, they are the most powerful I have ever experienced.” Arabella, London
“Fouzia is a fantastic teacher, very patient and attentive. Her classes are very gentle but incredibly powerful with a focus on the spiritual side of yoga that is often sadly neglected in the west. I feel like I've had an amazing healing after her classes. Highly recommended!” Suzanne, London
"Fouzia's yoga classes are more than the gentle poses that stretch and strengthen, there is also deep, relaxing breathing, a meditation, and each time a discussion of a different aspect of yogic philosophy. I am left deeply relaxed and energised the next day. Fouzia's loving, nurturing presence fills the room with joy and I really look forward to each class. I've never been to a yoga class where the instructor and the other students become much loved friends, and I love that!" Alex, London

For more information on Agama Yoga:
Agama Yoga is a slow-paced, Meditative form of Hatha Yoga, in which postures are held for several minutes and work deep into the muscles and connective tissues. This allows for the mind to move away from the body, so that the physical body is allowed to release layers of tension, relax & heal, increasing your sense of wellbeing. The practice ultimately helps to cultivate Self awareness, of your Divine Self.
Agama Yoga is an energy-based yoga practice, focused on moving energy through the body and activating the Chakras, which are potent energy centres that govern different physical, emotional/energetic aspects of our being. Agama Yoga helps to develop a deep sense of inner awareness, calms the nervous system, balances the mind, and increases flexibility. Suitable for all levels, it provides wonderful balancing and harmonising qualities to our busy lifestyles and perfectly complements more active styles of yoga.
Each session will focus on warming up the energetic body, Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breathing), Meditation and will end with a deep guided Relaxation. Each week, there will be a focus on a particular Chakra, including a Meditation to music on that Chakra. The 2 hour Hatha Yoga and Meditation practice will be followed by a lecture on a topic of Yogic philosophy (Yamas and Niyamas- moral ethics) or purification with Q & A.
This is a gentle approach to Yoga poses in which we move slowly, and focus on the different chakras during the poses, in a non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. You will feel a deep sense of inner calmness, relaxation, connection to your Divine essence and a state of increased well being. Yoga ultimately opens the path towards health, contentment, and inner transformation.
