6th Pampered Power Talk
Event Information
About this Event
Girls Like Me Project, Inc. will host its 6th Pampered Power Talks event on Sunday, March 28th. This event is held during Women’s History Month to meet several objectives. One is to connect the wellness and grooming habits of young girls to STEM career options, as well as the legacy of the women pioneers whose contributions have broken barriers and/or whose innovative leadership has opened doors for generations.
Prior to COVID-19, our events have been in person with hands-on demonstrations such as lip gloss and body scrub making, manicures and facials and culminated with panel discussions. This year we have shifted to virtual programming.
Our goal is to immerse girls in an expansive STEM experience through this event.
We are also seeking Black female STEM professionals to speak on panels and in Q&A sessions. Professions most needed are tech and engineering. If you are available please complete the Pampered Power Talk Speaker form or call 773-599-3490.
