Overview
Theme: Getting Ahead, Harder or Easier - A Session on Income Mobility
One’s income and economic well-being change over time in regards with making use of their opportunities such as education, entrepreneurship and employability, to be upwardly mobile.
However, youth unemployment is still a major issue in Brunei Darussalam where discussions whether the opportunities provided are relevant and inclusive enough in achieving Brunei’s vision for a dynamic and sustainable economy with a marketable workforce.
Hence, the 6th Impact Dialogue theme is focusing on inclusive youth employability and their competency in creating a dynamic and sustainable economy for Brunei.

Central Questions:
The Impact Dialogue aims to open up a discussion surrounding these 3 main central questions listed below:
1. Are our young people competent enough to compete in the international job market?
2. Do we have sufficient and inclusive opportunities to develop a workforce to not only thrive in the local job market but also in the international job market?
3. How are young people as a whole contributing to the nation’s aspirations of a dynamic and sustainable economy where people are highly skilled and educated with a high quality of life?
