Cincinnati's premier Derby party is back for our 6th anniversary!
The Queen City Derby Party (QCDP) is a fundraising day-party centered on the running of the Kentucky Derby. As Cincinnati’s premier Kentucky Derby watch event, QCDP is a unique spectacle that brings together a diverse mix of patrons who wish to enjoy a festive and vibrant take on the traditions of the race.
This annual fundraiser is the signature event of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Gamma Lambda chapter in collaboration with the Delta Gamma Lambda Youth & Education Foundation, a Cincinnati based 501c3. All proceeds go to the foundation in support of its mission.

General Information:
ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Must be at least 21 years old on May 6, 2023, to attend. Please do not purchase a ticket if you will not meet this criterion because your money will not be refunded.
Is there a dress code?
A pantsuit, cocktail dress or business formal attire is recommended. Of course, you'll want to accessorize accordingly. Google is a great resource for ideas!
No jeans, tennis shoes, boots, or streetwear. We reserve the right to enforce this policy up to expulsion from the party, in which case no refund will be provided.
What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Manor House has free parking available for all patrons.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Will there be seating?
Yes. All guests will have a seat at a table .
** If you want to sit at a table with a friend or group of friends, you will need to purchase the number of tickets you need in one (1) transaction. In other words, if you and a friend would like to sit together, when you purchase your tickets, you need to purchase two (2) tickets together in one transaction. **
Is there an open bar?
Yes. Open bar is available from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. During that time, you are welcome to a variety of options from a number of bar stations. In addition, we will have Oaks Lilly and Mint Juleps for your enjoyment.
Will there be food?
Yes. Heavy appetizers will be available for all guests. A "late night" menu will also be available. While there will be a variety of bites available, **this is not a banquet or dinner event**.

About the organizer
The Delta Gamma Lambda Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that focuses exclusively on education and youth development programs for African American males in the Cincinnati metro area. The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Delta Gamma Lambda (Cincinnati area) chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
