Mental illness is complex and often requires multiple types of therapy to treat. Health professionals must stay on top of advances and current trends to best serve their patients. This multi-disciplinary education event provides useful, practical information in the field of mental health, psychiatry and psychology. Psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and licensed counselors will learn ways to reduce malpractice risk, updates in psychopharmacology and neurocognitive disorders and new trends in physician assisted suicide.
