Description

The LIFT Concert benefits the LMUMC food programs offering healthy nutritious food to Oakland individuals and families living with food insecurity. Attended by hundreds of concert goers, this homegrown musical event returns featuring many well-known Bay Area musical groups and artists, all of whom are generously donating their time and talent.

Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir

Joan Miller

Stanley Huston, Tenor

Haejin Lee, Harpist

Worldsong

Mingle with performers and concert goers at the light reception immediately following the concert. Silent auction featuring goods and services from local businesses and community members.



All of LMUMC's Hunger Ministries --The Food Pantry for Families and Veterans; Lake Lunches for those who are homeless; Laney College Partnership for Students--are staffed completely by volunteers from LMUMC and the local community, including food recipients and students from several Bay Area high school service clubs.

100% of the money raised from LIFT 2019 will go to provide food to those who are hungry.

100 % - amount of proceeds that go directly to people served

Entrances to venue: 1255 First Ave or 1330 Lakeshore Ave in Oakland
Street and limited lot parking available. Closest BART station is Lake Merritt Station.
