62nd Annual American Federation of Ramallah Palestine Convention - Hosted by the Ramallah Club of Jacksonville.

About this event

Welcome to Florida! Thank you for registering for the 62nd Annual Ramallah Convention hosted by the Ramallah Club of Jacksonville. Now you are able to purchase tickets to paid events.


In order to register for the annual convention, American Federation of Ramallah, Palestine (AFRP) Membership Dues must be paid in full. Please visit afrp.org to become a member today, or pay while you register.

Banquet seats will be available during your registration process. Here are the steps to complete registration:

  1. Click the green TICKETS button.
  2. Choose the tickets you want and the amount of tickets from drop-down menus.
  3. Click the red GET TICKETS button when done selecting.
  4. Review your banquet selection and order for accuracy.
  5. Make seating changes (optional) and then proceed to checkout.

PLEASE PICK/CHANGE YOUR SEATS FOR THE BANQUET DURING REGISTRATION IF NECESSARY. If you do not select seats, your seats will be automatically assigned to you. You MUST be registered to select seats. Email jaxreg2021@gmail.com if you have any questions or issues registering. All sales are final (no refunds). Please make sure you review the FAQ's before registering.

Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation. This email will also contain your link to book your resort and a link to register for Convention Events.

Note: As in previous conventions, registrants will be issued wristbands and name badges. The wristbands will be required to access all Convention functions. If a registrant loses a wristband, they must purchase a new one at the full registration price. There are no exceptions to this rule as it is for the safety and security of our attendees.

1) What's the best way to get help if I still have questions after reading this?

2) How do I pick my seats for the Banquet?

  • Click on the Tickets box highlighted in green after reading the FAQ's.
  • Choose the amount of registrations, AFRP dues and events from the corresponding drop down boxes.
  • Click "Get Tickets" and it will take you to the shopping cart. You will then choose your banquet table assignment at the next step.
  • At this point you can see your banquet table assignment. This will be your chance to edit your table assignments. The system will auto assign the best table available for the amount of registrations you have selected. However, you have the option to unselect (or click the trash icon) these auto selected table assignments and pick a different table.
  • Review your entire order summary in the cart including your banquet seating assignments. If everything looks good, please proceed to checkout.

If you want to sit with a large group, we encourage you to register together, or to ask other members in the group what table they chose when registering.

3) Do I need to register for the convention to purchase event tickets?

Yes. You must be registered for one of the registration packages to be available to purchase event tickets.

4) What are the dates of the convention?

The convention will begin on Wednesday, June 30th and will end on Saturday, July 3rd. Banquet night is Saturday, July 3rd.

5) What's the resort address?

The convention will take place at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa. The resort address is 1000 Tournament Players Club Blvd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.

6) What's the cost per night for the resort?

We've negotiated a special rate of $179 plus $15 resort fee per night, plus tax (based on availability). Please note that this rate is ONLY guaranteed if you book through our custom convention link. If you book outside of our custom link, you will NOT be placed in the convention room block, and you won't receive negotiated discounts and perks that are reserved for attendees.

7) Where's the link to book the resort?

Once you complete registration, you will be given a custom link to book your room(s) for your convention stay.

8) What's around the resort?

There will be plenty of activity inside and outside of the resort. Jacksonville has family-friendly activities, such as golf, shopping, museums, nearby beaches, and more. There are also several restaurants and bars nearby, for those looking for more "nightlife."

Along with all of the convention events , you can explore the entire city of Jacksonville and surrounding areas. From beaches, to shopping, and more... you'll have plenty to do during your stay.

9) What's the closest airport? Is there a shuttle from the airport to the resort?

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest airport, and is about 35 miles from the resort. North Florida Regional Airport is about 25 miles fromt he resort. This is a smaller airport, but also an option depending where you are coming from. There is NO shuttle service from the airport to the resort... so please plan to take a taxi, Uber, or make other arrangements.

10) What are the parking options at the resort?

Self-park ($10/day) and valet ($20/day) will both be available. All attendees who book their resort through the convention link will receive discounted parking rates. Self-parking is normally $20/day and valet is normally $30/day. Please note: if you don't book your room through our custom convention link, you WILL NOT receive discounted parking rates.

11) What should I do once I arrive at the resort?

You will first want to check in to the resort. After that, you will want to head over to the Registration station. There will be signs directing you. You should register online prior to the convention, but if for some reason you haven't, you can register upon your arrival. You will also receive your welcome bag, badge, and event tickets at the Registration station.

12) Will I have to wear a wristband the whole time I'm at the convention?

Yes, and this is for your benefit. The wristbands must be worn at all times and will be required to enter events. This is the fastest way for security to know you are a paid registrant. Wristbands will come in different colors. This is so we know your level of registration and what you have access to.

If you lose your wristband, you must purchase a new one at full registration price. The same applies to tickets for events. If you lose tickets, you must purchase new ones.

13) When will early registration end and the price of full registration increase?

Early registration of $175 will end after May 31, 2021, and the regular price of $190 will take effect on June 1, 2021.

14) What's the refund policy?

As you know, a lot of time and effort goes into planning a convention. For this reason, we will be unable to give any refunds for registrations or events. Thank you for your understanding.
