Please register here for the Washington State High School Math Professional Development on Tuesday, June 21st at The Pierce County Skills Center.

This workshop has a content focus on quadratic functions and a pedagogical focus on the implementation of instructional routines that promote mathematical reasoning and student discourse. Teachers will explore quadratic functions through rich tasks, and they will have the opportunity to experience, analyze, and learn to implement productive instructional routines and strategies that they can incorporate into their mathematics lessons and units.

There is no cost for attending, and funding is available to pay for substitues for this session. Please check with your district about the availability of funding.

Six clock hours will be made available for participants.

There will be a 1 hour break for lunch on your own.
