Why attend Carnations and Crowns?

Not only will you be enjoying delicious food, an open bar and a fun afternoon of watching the races in a beautiful setting, most importantly you will be directly helping the horses in Foxie G’s care.

Great Magic had career earnings of $117,065 in 32 starts as a racehorse. Many years after retiring from racing he found himself on a dealer’s lot. Skinny, covered in rain rot and standing in deep mud his fate would not have been a good one. Thankfully, we were able to buy him and provide him the care he needed. Pictured here is Magic when he arrived and what he looks like today.

The Venue and the Menu

You won’t want to miss out on watching the races in this beautiful setting in horse country or dining on gourmet cuisine while sipping cocktails on the veranda.

About the organizer

On September 14, 2012, The Foxie G Foundation was established to honor the memory and enjoyment of life of a phenomenal racehorse named Foxie G. This 501(c)(3) provides rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and sanctuary for Thoroughbreds, whether off the track or not. Through our adoption program these horses are given the opportunity to find new homes and often a new career.

In addition to the horses, felines could not be forgotten. The need for low cost spay/neuter, TNR and adoption programs has increased substantially with the economy and rise in outdoor and feral cat populations. Through public education, affordable veterinary services and matching cats and kittens with forever homes, The Foxie G Foundation can have a direct hand in offering a positive solution to a rapidly growing issue.
