Event description

Description

The Calabasas Library will have a special screening marking the 60th Anniversary of one the most thought-provoking of the American 1950's science-fiction film genre on Wednesday, July 19th, at 6 p.m. This acclaimed 1957 production tells the story of Scott Carey, a man who suffers cellular degeneration after encountering an atomic cloud, reducing him to mere inches in height and forcing him to survive in a world of terrifyingly familiar things. A guest panel of experts will discuss the film's significance immediately after the screening! For more information about the film, call the library at 818-225-7617 or email Karilyn Steward at ksteward@cityofcalabasas.com.
