60s/70s Comeback Artists - How to Collect Art
Tue, May 23, 2017, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM BST
Over the past five years or so, the art world has witnessed a strong revival of largely overlooked artists working in the 60s and 70s: from German Zero artists to Eastern European Avant-garde, Korean Dansaekwha, and African-American experimental abstract painting.
This new series 'How to Collect Art', hosted by Pernilla Holmes, features Amelie von Wedel who will examine the art-historical context of these movements and the wealth of ground-breaking ideas that have emerged in that period, alongside the recent developments in their markets and renown.
Tickets include complimentary drinks and entry to Frieze London 2017
