What this program has to offer

Weekly Group Training Sessions

The key objective of this Chicago Loop training program is to give you the guidance, tools and practice opportunities for an efficient and engaging training process.

During each action-packed session, you will

  • concentrate on typical problematic sounds for speakers of different langauge backgrounds. (Note: Sarah Gallant, the program facilitator, has worked with speakers of Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian-Portueguese, Italian, Thai, Korean, French, Czech, Polish, German, and Mongolian on their spoken English for over 13 years.)

  • learn the core speech features of English rhythm (i.e., stress & intonation).

  • engage in a variety of practice activities.

  • learn how to monitor yourself and your fellow speakers-in-training.

  • receive ongoing individualized feedback.

  • acquire take-away techniques for continued practice between course sessions and beyond this 4-week training program.

  • have 24/7 access to a workbook-style online training space for daily practice.

Core Training Materials

You will receive an English Sound System Studio booklet and be given access to our dedicated online training space. The carefully-sequenced speech training modules include:

  • Daily learn and practice pages

  • Downloadable pdf files

  • Recording of the weekly 30-minute live webinars (which you can attend live!)

  • 3-5 minute video-recorded mini-lectures

  • Supplemental audio samples

  • Daily practice assignments (estimated completion time is 15030 minutes per assignment)

  • Extra materials for extra practice (in case the assigments aren't enough)

A Private Membership Community

You will be able to take advantage of belonging to an online community of other motivated global workforce processionals who are also motivated to improve their spoken English. Sarah Gallant, the course facilitator, will set up an online group space so that everyone can ask questions and share resources, strategies, videos, insights, etc. Such community support is intended to help keep you continuously engaged and steadily moving forward to achieve your goals during this program.

A few kind words

"Working with Sarah to improve my American English pronunciation was the best decision I ever made... Sarah's techniques proved to be very effective... The program was designed well and although somewhat intense, it fit my work and family schedule perfectly. Sarah's assignments and feedback were excellent and I was able to apply what she taught me right away. I couldn't be happier with my choice of CommuniClear Global and Sarah." Malgorazata, Lawyer, moved to U.S. from Poland

"I'm so glad that I took Sarah's 8-week program. After a few weeks following Sarah's methods and practices, my spoken English has improved so noticeably that my American colleagues who I work with everyday recognized it. I work in a law firm, so this improvement is invaluable to me. Sarah knows exactly what I should focus on to improve my spoken English and put it in a carefully designed step-by-step program. The results came fast and clear. I definitely recommend this program." Thang, Foreign Attorney at Sidley Austin-Chciago, from Vietnam

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Who are the other training participants?

This intensive 4-week program is designed for professionals who are advanced to near-proficient speakers of English

Four weeks is a very short period of time for this type of training. Is this really going to help me?

This type of training does take time. It's difficult to "cram" for this type of training since it's not only about learning new knowledge but also about applying it to real-time spoken English. This takes time.

The goal of each 3-hour session is to work intensively with the core speech topics of Sarah's English pronunciation skills training curriculum. You will have access to her online workbook materials for review and daily practice, both during and after this program. Sarah will train you how to monitor your own (and others') spoken English so that you can steadily, over time, apply what she covers into your spontaneous speech.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can either email Sarah Gallant at sgallant@ccg-training.com or schedule a time to speak with Sarah by phone.

What if I'm interested in this program but I can't participate due to the time that it's offered?

Please e-mail Sarah at sgallant@ccg-training. It's possible that there are others in your situation. If this is the case, we might run an additional course.

What's the refund policy?

If at the end of the first session you realize that this program is not for you, we are happy to give you a full refund.
