The Family Strong Foundation's 5th Annual Women's Empowerment Conference is geared towards women of all ages from all backgrounds, and its focus is to improve the quality of life for all women. There are four components to our goal; women will engage in physical, mental, spiritual, and financial empowerment activities that will expand their exposure and skill sets with the intent to help them achieve the best possible self. We believe in the potential of our women in the community, and this continuously growing annual conference works to make that potential a reality for these women. The theme of the conference this year is “I am woman. Hear me R.O.A.R!” R.O.A.R. is an acronym for Revolutionary, Open, Authentic, and Respected; helping woman manifest these attributes is the goal of this year’s conference. Women shoulder so much of the weight in society: mother, wife, employee, caretaker, teacher, preacher, and cook (just to name a few) all while making 70 cents on the dollar compared to their male counterparts. We want to empower women to take control of their financial, spiritual, mental, and physical health to strengthen the family and ultimately improve the community.
