5th Annual La Verne Law PILF Silent Auction
Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM (PDT)
You are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun to support La Verne Law's Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF).
The event will take place at the University of La Verne College of Law located at 320 East D Street in Ontario, California. A lunch and silent auction will proceed the announcement of the recipients of this year's PILF scholarship. Raffle tickets can be purchased for various prizes during that time as well.
All proceeds from the silent auction will go to establish grants for La Verne Law students who are working in public interest jobs during the summer.
The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) is a non-partisan, nonprofit student organization committed to reducing the financial barriers to working in public interest law and providing assistance to those who traditionally underrepresented in the legal system. PILF does so by offering summer fellowships to law students who wish to work in the public sector and by educating students about the rewards of pursuing public interest careers.
