Event description

Description

The 5th Annual Doggone Halloween Costume Parade sponsored by the Downtown Boston BID is a pawfect opportunity for canines and humans to show their festive sides! The parade is on Monday, October 29th from noon to 2 pm.

This year's event will be held on Summer Street between Washington and Hawley streets.

All well-behaved dogs (and their owners) are welcome to enter the costume contest -- it's free to enter! Every dog will receive a prize for entering the contest. Judges will award special prizes for Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Best Human and Dog Duo Costume and Most Creative Costume.

Please bring your dog on leash and only bring dogs who can get along with other dogs and be OK with a crowd. This event will take place in a gated area in Downtown Crossing. Water will be available for dogs. It is recommended you try to have your dog go to the bathroom before coming to the parade
