5th Annual Disaster Ministry Conference
Event Information
Description
The Humanitarian Disaster Institute hosts an annual Disaster Ministry Conference that will equip anyone—from emergency management professionals, to humanitarian workers, to pastors, to motivated citizens—who wants to know more about how to respond to the disasters that are shaping the biggest injustices in our world today. We’ll be offering Disaster, Refugee, Anti-Human Trafficking, and Development Ministry Tracks led by experts in each field. This year our main stage speakers include Eugene Cho (founder and senior pastor of Quest Church in Seattle and founder of One Day’s Wages), Richard Stearns (president of World Vision USA), Jo Anne Lyons (vice president of Wesley Seminary), Ed Stetzer (executive director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism), and our own founder and executive director Jamie Aten.
