The 5th annual symposium, with the theme of "Every Voice Matters", will continue to build the capacity of educators and other professionals, in partnership with middle and high school students with disabilities and their families, to help ensure successful post-school outcomes.

Participants will learn about a variety of programs and resources to support students transitioning to adult life. The symposium will include sessions specifically for students making college and career choices.

The Symposium is hosted by the CT Department of Developmental Services (DDS), the CT Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS), the Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC), the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE), the State Education Resource Center (SERC), and the University of Connecticut Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD).
