About this Event

5th annual Beyond Paper Tigers Trauma-Informed Care Conference 2020

Resilience Through Diversity: The Power of Trauma-Informed DEI Practices

June 24 - 25, 2020 Centennial Hotel Spokane, WA

w/ pre-conference trainings + social/networking events + film screenings beginning June 22, 2020

The documentary Paper Tigers sparked renewed interest in the effects of toxic stress and trauma on children’s development. So what are the next steps, how do we apply similar strategies and new trauma-informed structures that offer help, hope and healing across all sectors?

This year’s conference focuses on how diverse communities make resilient communities. Our strength is in the diversity of our communities, but many marginalized populations do not have equitable access to services, contributing to the barriers of quality health and wellbeing. Let’s come together to address these barriers, increase our resilience, and celebrate the collective power and diversity in our joined experiences.

** Register and book early, we sold out last year and you don't want to miss out on the positive energy, tools, connections, and insights! **
