March 14, 2012
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Alabama State House
On Autism Legislative Day self-advocates, family members, and professionals visit their legislators to express the overwhelming need for support and services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in Alabama.
If you plan on attending, make a short appointment with your legislator and hand-deliver a written letter. If you cannot attend, mail your letter, send an email, or make a phone call. Bring or send a picture of your loved one. Whether you are able to join us on March 13th or not (we really hope you will!), take the time to contact your legislators to ask for their support of individuals with ASD.
Your story MATTERS. Autism MATTERS.
To find contact information for your local representative and senator, go to www.legislature.state.al.us and search by your address &/or zip code.
Lunch will be provided. If you or your child are on a special diet, you will need to bring your own food items.
