This year’s keynote speaker will be social media expert, Melissa Kimble. Melissa Kimble is the founder of My Creative Connection, a platform for Black creative millennials that provides community, resources, tools and strategies to help them create the lives that they envision for themselves. With a community of nearly 20,000 members, Kimble uses social media to bring together her community and prominent entrepreneurs of color every month during the monthly #BlkCreatives twitter chats. The former Senior Social Media Manager for Ebony Magazine, Kimble oversaw and created social content, strategy, customer engagement and execution for EBONY Magazine’s entire social presence and contributed to both Ebony.com and Ebony Magazine. Kimble is a writer/blogger who believes in using social media for good through education and empowerment.
