56th Annual Western District Call To Conference San Francisco, CA | Reno, NV | Denver, CO

About this event

Dear Members of the Western District,

I am so excited to bring you our 56th Annual Western District Conference. It's a little different than what we are used to because it will be offered virtually, but I promise it will be delivered in a way that is interactive and engaging for members of all ages. The conference will take place over two days: June 25th - June 26th, 2021. Since the conference is virtual, it is being hosted by the San Francisco, Denver and Reno Club. Collectively we look forward to providing you with a wonderful experience. The Theme this year is “Moving Forward With A Purpose, The Wonderful Women of the West”. This theme is very fitting as we prepare for post-covid realities. We aim to provide you with educational opportunities that will increase your capacity in technology, life planning and intergenerational connections. I look forward to seeing everyone at the 56th Annual Western District Conference!

Western District Governor Brittney Doyle

Over the last year, through successful partnerships and contracts, we have conducted and coordinated over 400 health education workshops and activities throughout the city specifically designed to promote healthy behaviors (e.g., physical activity, nutrition, sexual health) to reduce health disparities; increase social support and reduce social isolation; and recruit and educate caregivers. Our primary programs and services focus on senior citizens residing throughout District 10 (i.e., Bayview Hunters Point and Sunnydale).
