About the Topic

Experience is one the element of competitive advantage. Experience economy thrives on providing enriching moments in the life of customers and customer communities. Cherished memories lead to customer engagement, brand promotion, more customer footfalls and higher business growth.

If this is true then what about employee experience? Does it also matter equally as like customer experience?

How many organisations are open to improve employee experience because research says that Positive Experience to employees leads to Positive Customer Experience.

While there is a lot of debate going on improving employee experience using the digital technology, digitalisation, use of mobile apps and empowerment through technology enabled solutions. Have the HR Techs created cloud and clout that is subtly forcing the organisations to lose focus on the most crucial element of human touch and care which an employee gets from his Manager. The speaker will try to explain Manager Experience from various perspectives like mega trends , future of work, employee engagement and employee expectations. He will present his thoughts on “How can managers improve positive employee experience”

About the Speaker

Sarfaraj Maner is an Engineer by education and HR professional by choice.

He is working with Tata Motors Limited as Head HR for Commercial Vehicle Business Unit – Pune. In his 20 years of HR career, he worked in different capacities with leading automotive and auto-component brands like Mahindra and Mahindra and Gabriel India Limited.

He started his career with Nasik unit of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. as a Trainee. His experience spans over HR and IR functions of Auto and Auto component companies. His field of work encompasses HR Operations, Business Partnering, Strategic HR/IR and L&D.

He was a core team member in setting up two green field projects which includes the largest Greenfield of Mahindra at Chakan.

His professional interest areas are Employee engagement, Leadership Development and Strategic HR.

An avid user of social networking sites, you can easily find him almost everywhere in the virtual world. He enjoys connecting with people, loves reading and is a movie buff.

Sarfaraj is married and stays in Pune.

Sarfaraj is BE (1997), MPM (2002) and EDHRM (2012) from XLRI.
