Meet the Presenter: 

Renee Bourque

Renee Bourque is President and Principal Consultant of Bright Star Grant Consultants, Inc and a passionate advocate for social justice. She is a strategy expert who has lead local, statewide, and international initiatives that integrate constituency, program, policy, and infrastructure objectives. She has lead multi-country community assessment and development plans, diversified fund and program development, and international organizational scale-ups. Renee is also President of the Puget Sound Grant Writers Association, recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the University of South Florida and the Institute for Grant Writing Certification, and is a grant maker for Pangea Giving for Global Change and her family’s foundation. Renee teaches Finance, Prospect Research, and Grant writing at the University of Washington. You can read her articles every month in The Fundbook, and online magazine featuring federal funding information and strategy.
