New To Melbourne invites you to the iconic Wilsons Promontory! We have organised a luxury coach and a tour guide and photographer to stop at the best spots on this trip!! We usually take a group of around 50 people from around the world on each trip so it is a great opportunity to make new friends.

● Planned 12 hour (1 day) bus trip
● Friendly Tour Guide + free photographer
● The beautiful Tidal River, where we stop for lunch
● Hike up Mount Oberon Summit to enjoy incredible views (3.4KM one way, 6.8KM return hike, medium to difficult)
● Take a walk along Squeaky Beach, take a swim, build a sandcastle or checkout the local bush land
● Aussie wildlife to be seen: Wild birds, dropbears, wombats, kangaroos, emus and did I mention: dropbears? Please Google for more information on this dangerous mammal :D.

Plus:
Sometimes we bring a ball (aussie football / soccer ball / volleyball) to play around too ;-) or a frisbee to play together at the beach. You are welcome to bring your own or playing cards too!

● Please ensure you allow enough time for travel delays getting to the meeting point.

Food and Drinks:
● Our bus trips are really cheap but we do not provide food or drink, that is why we recommend that you bring some snacks with you for the day :). Sometimes we have a "picnic" all together - Otherwise you can also buy something at the stops during the trip

• As always with our ticketed events: get in early as later tickets become more expensive closer to the event/tour date.

• Please note also: Most of our tours sell out 5-7 days in advance, so if you’re organising a group, get in early!

Group discount, Concessions and children’s passes:
Our prices are already one third of normal prices of the other bus trip providers and prices cannot be further discounted

Children:
Children under 16 must be supervised by a parent/guardian on the trip. Children (of any age) must have a full price valid ticket to board. Please email Operations@NewToMelbourne.org if you have a child of 7 years or less (or that is under 145cm), please provide the name on your ticket, the child’s age and the tour you are on and the date and time it starts. Children may need to have a safety harness / seating arranged for the trip (depending on age).

Refund and Transfer policy:
No refunds will be given if you miss the bus. Refunds or transfers requested 7 days before the tour date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. If requested 4 days before will incur a 100% cancellation fee. For refunds, date transfers or ticket transfer to another person please use the Eventbrite's Refund feature (not email or facebook). Tickets are not for resale.
