About this event
Gong Hay Fat Choy! Happy Year of the Rabbit! Here at Ice Cream Jubilee, Asian-inspired flavors play a big role in motivating our creative tastebuds! This year, we want to invite you to join in the fun!
Join us for our Lunar New Year parties where we'll serve tasting flights of 5 mini-scoops and give you an ice cream pint to take home!
Flavor Descriptions:
- Red Bean Almond Cookie – This flavor is a play off of desserts commonly found in American Chinatowns. Red adzuki beans are widely used in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese desserts, like sweet soups and pastry fillings. We’ve combined two of our favorite desserts to make this unique mashup flavor.
- Roasted Barley Tea – Inspired by Korean and Japanese barley tea, this deeply rich flavor has nutty overtones that are reminiscent of sugar smacks cereal milk.
- Miso Caramel & Peanut Butter Cookies -- We made buttery caramel ice cream, but instead of adding salt, we add white miso paste for a savory twist! Homemade peanut cookies add crunch.
- Dan Tat Brulee -- Inspired by "dan tat," a classic Chinese dim sum egg custard tart, this flavor brings together flakey pastry crust pieces, crunchy sugar brulee, and a rich vanilla custard ice cream.
- Pear Plum Wine Sorbet -- Sweet, simple, and clean: this vegan sorbet is made with whole pears and Japanese Choya Plum wine.
Choose a ticket for the store location of your choice and bring your friends! You may arrive any time in the ticket window. (Email if you have any questions about the time slots!)
If you would like to try these flavors but cannot make these times, you may also visit any Ice Cream Jubilee location and place an order for a tasting flight. (You'll risk the flavors being sold out, but you'll save yourself the web fee.)
