Event description

Description

To mark the opening of the new Tony Warren exhibition we take an informal look at the Salford of the 1950s which inspired him to create Coronation Street. In this talk our focus is 50 photos of Salford and the wider area from 1950 - 1959, using images from 'Digital Salford'.

Please note the same talk is repeated on Monday 11 December. The Museum is closed to the public on a Monday, but the cafe and shop are open as usual. Please meet in reception for the presentation.

Find out more about the exhibition, on display at Salford Museum & Art Gallery from 21 October.
