Description

All SWA parents are in for a treat as we help you get ready to start off the new year right with a brand-new Southern Wake Academy seminar series, designed to enrich our school community in a variety of different subjects. First up in the series: "5 Things to Master for Abunadant Health in 2018"

First things first, we've got to say that WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY! There is no better place in the world than Southern Wake, and we are passionate about improving the lives of everyone in our community. However, there’s a major problem. People are stressed out and are so busy and overwhelmed with everything going on in their lives that their health is suffering. They need to know the simple, implementable steps they can take that will have a big impact on their health but won’t require a complete lifestyle change. That’s where The Wellness Coach comes in. Dr. Atkin is chiropractor and master herbalist as well as a well-known corporate wellness speaker that has several inspiring talks that he gives on a regular basis. One of his most popular lectures is "5 Things to Master for Abundant Health" where he covers nutrition, exercise, sleep, and physical and emotional stress. Obviously, those are pretty big topics that could each take an hour but he delivers a few easily implementable tips and tricks on each one of them that people see huge results.

Here's a small sampling of what you're going to learn to MAKE 2018 YOUR HEALTHIEST YEAR EVER!

  • How to create a sleeping routine that will boost your energy

  • How to reduce your risk of heart disease by 75%

  • Discover a cool technique to drastically reduce your stress

  • A scientifically proven way to reduce fat

  • The best way to protect your bone density and prevent osteoporosis

To sweeten the pot (and I mean literally), local caterer Bill Myers from Billiam's Cafe, will provide us with a delicious array of cupcakes to enjoy after the seminar.

And if that's not enough, this event is also eligible to count 2 hours toward your volunteer hours for the year.

Be sure to grab plenty of tickets for your family and friends and we'll see you there!
