Welcome to the 4th International African Mental Health Summit!

Thursday July 12th and Saturday July 14th, 2018

Hosted by Progressive Individual Resources, Inc.

The Summit theme is

“ Mental Health and Well-Being of Africans in Diaspora: Issues, Challenges, and Prospects”.

We are excited to announce that this year the Summit is a 3-day international event with breakout sessions each day on Thursday and Friday! Join us on Saturday for the Awards Banquet from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.


For those that are willing to present a paper or organize a workshop at the Summit, the abstract submission is now open. Click here for the call for abstracts and here for abstract submission.

Progressive Individual Resources (PIR) CANCELLATION POLICY: PIR thanks you for registering to attend our Summit. We understand that unforeseen situations arise and you may need to cancel your registration. If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place but PIR must be notified in writing (email is acceptable) with the name and contact information for the person who will be attending.

Refunds for paid events are issued per the following:

A full refund of 100% will be issued if you cancel more than 14 days prior to date of the Summit.

No refund or credit will be given if you cancel less than 14 days prior to the Summit.

PHOTO PERMISSION POLICY: Professional photographs and/or videoing may occur at the Summit. You image may be used in PIR printed and electronic publications for promotional and educational purposes, and may be made available to the media and other third parties, or published on the internet.
