UPDATE: THE DATE OF THIS TRIP HAS CHANGED FROM OCT 7 TO NOV 4 BECAUSE FSU RESCHEDULED THE FSU-UM GAME FOR OCT 7.

The Tampa Bay Seminole Club Presents

FOURTH ANNUAL TAMPA NOLES EPCOT FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL BUS TRIP

Saturday, November 4th, 2017 (rescheduled from prior date of 10/7/17 because of the change in the FSU-UM game date) departing South Tampa at 8:15am, return 11pm

EPCOT, Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida

The Guide Map has been released!

Join the Tampa Noles for a ROAD TRIP to EPCOT's legendary Food & Wine Festival on Saturday October 7, 2017! Here are some pics from past years - we get a great turnout!

EPCOT F&W Festival boasts food and drinks from over 36 countries, including over 300 different wines, more than 250 cocktails, about a hundred domestic, international, and craft beers, and hundreds of small plate food and dessert dishes (most food and drinks sell for about $4-$8 each - so it's a great way to sample everything!).

MORE DETAILED INFO ABOUT EPCOT'S F&W FESTIVAL FOOD AND DRINKS FURTHER BELOW.

TAMPA NOLES CHARTER BUS - $30/person

The Tampa Bay Seminole Club is using ESCOT BUS LINES to transport us to and from EPCOT on Saturday October 7! ESCOT is Tampa's luxury charter bus service and we'll be transported in a clean, on-time, wifi-equiped, BYOB-friendly bus! Cost for the Tampa Noles motor coach is $30 per person, which includes a 2017 Tampa Noles EPCOT T-shirt! (OBVIOUSLY this $30 bus fee DOES NOT include admission to EPCOT - see below for details on EPCOT admission)! THERE ARE 40 SEATS AVAILABLE ON THE BUS. IF THEY SELL OUT, THERE IS A 10 PERSON WAITLIST. T-SHIRTS ARE FOR BUS RIDERS ONLY - YOU MUST RIDE THE BUS TO GET A T-SHIRT!

The bus will leave from Old Hyde Park Village (specific pick-up detals to come, probably by parking garage). Parking is usually available, and there should be no trouble finding easy parking on a Saturday morning. The bus departs promptly at 8:15am (e.g. DON'T BE LATE!!).

That night, the bus will depart EPCOT at 9pm PROMPTLY, with estimated arrival back at Old Hyde Park Village before 11pm. DON'T BE LATE!!

THERE ARE ONLY 40 SEATS AVAILABLE ON THE BUS - IT SOLD OUT LAST YEAR AND IT'LL SELL OUT THIS YEAR!! If you're thinking about joining us on the bus, MAKE YOUR PLANS AND RESERVE A SEAT NOW!

EPCOT TICKET - about $102

You will need a ticket to enter EPCOT (unless you have an Annual Pass). You can purchase your ticket at the enterance to EPCOT for $102 (plus tax), from a AAA office, or online from Disney through this link.

EPCOT FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL - NOLE STYLE!

Whether riding the Tampa Noles bus or driving separately, meet at 12 NOON in the UK section of EPCOT. Specifically, we'll gather across from the Rose and Crown Pub at the 2 bright red London phone booths - picture below. Grab a pint from the Rose and Crown, sample some of the legendary Lobsterman's Pie (think Shepard's Pie, but with lobster instead of meat), hang out by the phone booths while the Noles assemble, and meet some new friends (hint: look for people wearing Garnet and Gold and/or the Tampa Noles T-Shirt!)

(Meet at these London Phone Booths, across from the Rose & Crown Pub in the United Kingdom section of EPCOT starting at 12 NOON)

At 12:30, the group will move counterclockwise to France (there's a secret Champagne Bar in the very back of France). Afterwards, the group will continue moving counterclockwise around the EPCOT countries. This is an informal gathering - feel free to stick with the group, do your own thing, whatever!

Below is an incomplete listing of last year's EPCOT's F&W Festival offerings (courtesy of www.wdwinfo.com - check out their page HERE for more details!). Most are priced between $4-$8 each, and sold a la carte style.

THINGS TO KNOW

TRANSPORTATION

EPCOT is about 45 minutes west of downtown Tampa along I-4. Drive, catch a ride, or take the Tampa Noles bus for $15. If you drive, parking is available at EPCOT (Disney charges a parking fee), or if you're grabbing a hotel room, park at your hotel - every hotel has free shuttles to/from EPCOT.

HOTELS

Grab a hotel and make it a weekend! There are tons of hotel rooms around EPCOT, ranging from the super-budget 1 star $60ish/night, to the super lux 5 star Waldorf Astoria (heavenly) or Four Seasons for $200-$500/night, and everything in between.

COSTS

1. EPCOT Admission around $102 plus tax. An EPCOT admission ticket is required to get into EPCOT and participate in Cocktails Around the World and enjoy the Food and Wine Festival. Purchase your tickets directly from Disney (either online, in person at EPCOT, at AAA, at Disney hotels, and other places). EPCOT 1 day tickets are currently around $102. Disney usually also has other Florida Resident specials, so perhaps do a google search for other deals!

2. TRANSPORTATION. Get yourself there, or RIDE THE CHARTER BUS FOR $25 (which includes a T-SHIRT!). If you drive, expect to pay to park, not to mention gas!

3. DRINKS AND FOOD. Prices are pretty reasonable - drink prices range from $4-$8 per beverage on average, and food is typically in the same price range. Expect to spend at least $20 on food and drinks, and likely more if you eat/drink a lot!

4. HOTEL - Want to make a weekend out of it? Drive yourself and grab a hotel! Hotels range from $60-$500 or more depending on where you stay. Share a room to keep costs down - most hotel rooms can easily handle 3 or 4 people (or more). The Swan and Dolphin hotels (Starwood properties) are actually walking distance to EPCOT (they also have a boat that'll take you to EPCOT too).
