4th Annual Ryan's Run 4 Recovery
Sat, June 3, 2017, 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM EDT
RYAN'S RUN 4 RECOVERY is a 6K Run/Walk to benefit Learn 2 Cope, a nonprofit organization for parents & family memebers dealing with a loved one addicted to Heroin, Oxycontin and other drugs. This is our 4th Annual Run/Walk in my son Ryan's memory. Ryan passed away on September 11th, 2013 due to a heroin overdose. This is not only a run/walk. It is a family event. So if you don't want to or cannot run or walk, your donation includes the other events throughout the day as well. Past events have included food donated by the Olive Garden and Piezoni's, a DJ, a bouncy house for the kids, a cash bar and large raffle/auction which have included prizes such as vacations, Patriots and Red Sox tickets and valuable baskets. Registration will begin at 9:00 and the race begins at 10:30. There is the actual race route, which is a 6K route, and there is also a shorter route. You will be able to choose which route you would like to take. The competing racers will have to take the 6K route in order to be considered for placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in one of our 4 categories. Categories are Female 15 and under, Male 15 and under, Female 16 and older and Male 16 and older. And of course, 1st Place overall. Please see ticket pricing for details.
