The Ohio Bicycle Federation (OBF) is the statewide organization representing Ohio cyclists. The OBF mission is to improve Ohio bicycling through legislation, education, and sharing ideas.
Over the years, the OBF has successfully:
1. Shepherded five pro-cycling measures through the Ohio legislature to signature by the governor, including 2016 3-foot passing law.
2. Set a legal precedent for Ohio cyclists' rights to use Ohio roadways as amicus curiae in a key case.
3. As a member of National Committee for Uniform Traffic Laws and Ordinances (NCUTLO), updated Uniform Vehicle Code to reflect the change in vehicle definition to include the bicycle.
