The 4th Annual New Urbanism Film Festival will be held in Los Angeles October 6th-9th.
The festival seeks to engage a broader audience in the conversation about the way we shape our city (and the ways it shapes us). The festival screens short and feature length documentaries about urban design. Categories include: active transportation, architecture, bicycling, economic development, public health, street art, tactical urbanism, transportation, urban design, and walkability. The festival also hosts a series of walking tours, group bike rides, and workshops that help audiences further engage the city.

THURSDAY October 6th
The opening night festivities includes a parklet party, red carpet interviews, reception and special guest speaker, and the U.S. premiere of the feature film "ART OF RECOVERY"

Designing Urbanism short films on architecture design and city planning. The film screening at ACME Theatre at 8pm on Saturday October 8th. Before the screening, there will be a special award presentation from the California Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism.
"What's The Worst... Building in Los Angeles?" a comedy game show at ACME Theatre at 10pm Saturday October 8th.
SUNDAY October 9th
Sunday 7pm: The screening of the film challenge mini-documentaries and the closing night awards ceremony and reception. This event will take place at the Helms Design Center in Culver City - 8754 Washington Blvd
