As part of the 5th Annual Utah Pacific Island Heritage Month, the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center & KAVA Talks welcome you to the 4th Annual National Pacific Island Violence Prevention Conference hosted for the 1st time in Salt Lake City, Utah by KAVA Talks. The Conference will alternate each year with the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center Of Burlingame, California.

Please join us for 2 educational days of History, Heritage and Culture. Engage in discussions of the impact culture plays in Preventing Violence and Healing from Violence in the Pacific Island Community . Education and Resources for Service Providers that work with Pacific Islanders and other Ethnic Communities of Color (CEU Credits Earned) and for Community Members, to join forces in Eliminating ALL Violence.

We are excitied to host Keynote Speaker, Maui Police Chief Tivoli Faaumu born and raised in Tonga here in Utah amongst the largest Tongan population per capita in the United States. Breakfast and Lunch are included, we are Screening "The Mask You Live In" and an Onsite Resource Area.

It Takes a Village and together we CAN Eliminate Violence while practicing our healthy Pacific Island Heritages!.
