About this Event

The "Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival" ( ILICFF) was founded by multi-award winning filmmaking prodigy Anthony Michael Hobbs in 2016 to inspire youth to express their feelings in films. Hobbs has written, directed, produced three multi-award winning short films - One Nation, Naga Pixie and Agent Hollywood. Te short films were produced under his production company Imagination Lunchbox, LLC. Hobbs is also a multi-award winning actor, as well as a model and motivational youth speaker. In 2013 he represented PBS at the Emmy Awards for his role as a young Frederick Douglass in the PBS Special Mini-Series “The American Experience: The Abolitionist.” He also starred in the DreamWorks documentary “How to Train Your Dragon: Dragons and Dinosaurs”. Also a model Anthony Michael Hobbs has worked on the national campaigns for Finish Line Athletics (in-store and catalogue), Villa Sportswear and ToysRUs. He has starred in commercials and television segments for Comcast Xfinity, Sprout Network, United Way and Claritin Kids Allergy.

Awards to be given in 2020 at the ILICFF event include "Film Festival Choice," "ILICFF Best Film Made By Youth," "ILICFF Best Film Made For Youth" and "Most Uplifting ILICFF Film."

The ILICFF event is held in partnership with the Eubie Blake Cultural Center and The Baltimore Times Foundation, Times Community Services, Inc.
