KEYNOTE SPEAKERS AND PANELS:

  • Acclaimed consultant, and Founder and Owner of Futurist.com, Glen Hiemstra, will give an overview of future trends and the next wave of new technologies and social shifts, and how they will impact jobs, work, and business opportunity. Glen will provide tools for executives on how to identify trends and develop rich insights that will transform their strategic planning process to future-proof their businesses.

  • An internationally known family business consultant, and Co-Founder of Pacific Family Business Institute, Mark Green, will discuss how intergenerational differences in ethos, culture, and technology use fundamentally influence otherwise standard business interactions, and are the source of much (if not most) dysfunction in family and closely held businesses. Mark will show how to identify and address these issues.

  • Two roundtable sessions: the first, a panel of regional family business executives will share their personal stories and lessons learned from their business successions and exit strategies. Panelists include executives from Campbell’s Resort, Dick’s Drive-in and Plymouth Poultry. The second features advisors from law, accounting, investment banking and wealth management who will demonstrate how owners can benefit from a team approach to tackle typical family business issues and ensure the best outcomes.
