What day(s) and hour(s) will the Chicago Southside Mini Maker Faire be open to the public? Gates open at 11:00am and the event closes at 5:00pm.
Where can I park? Free, street-level parking is plentiful at Ford City Mall, with multiple parking lots surrounding the building. The outdoor booths of the Faire are near the Food Court entrance to the Mall, so the closest parking can be found there. Carpooling and public transit (see below) are especially encouraged!
What about accessibility? Accessible parking is located in each Mall parking lot near the building entrances. The outdoor event is at street level and fully accessible. NOTE: that the Faire grounds are flat, but are a crushed gravel surface. The Food Court entrance is a few feet away and is ground level. Ford City Mall is fully ADA compliant. Please contact us if you have questions on how we can best accommodate your needs
Is public transportation available? Ford City Mall is accessible by CTA and Pace bus; please visit the RTA Trip Planner for bus and train routes to the Faire.
Can I volunteer at the Mini Maker Faire? Yes!! Please visit our volunteer registration site to learn more and to sign up: http://chicagosouthsidemakerfaire.com/volunteers
What if it rains? The show will go on, so bring rain gear to keep you dry! Makers will be located in tents, so there will be plenty of places to stay dry while having fun. The mall will also be open during the entire event.
Rain or Shine. No Refunds/Exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced.
